Hi have you found a car? I was going to suggest getting an older model vanagon... I love mine I paid $2000 bucks for it it gets 28 mpg and seats 7! not only that but it has a ton of room way more than a minivan. you can walk around in there! also tha back seat folds down into a bed. It isn't the camper model but the bed comes in handy for camping, we use it as a "bed Room" for the kids and we get the honeymoon suit...the tent...all to ourselves;) I know this is an older thread but I can't tell enough ppl how awesome my vanagon is!

Sorry it has taken me so long! Yes we did find a new car back in May. It is a 2004 Ford Focus Wagon. We bought it from Longmont Ford with 94000 miles for $4500! What a steal! But just a few months ago, I miscarried so the real need to have a larger car isn't necessary at the moment. But with that kind of a deal, I couldn't pass up the opportunity!
