 Since we just moved here and are buying a new house I'm shopping around for insurance. So far, esurance is the cheapest for auto insurance and I don't remember the name of the homeowners insurance that was the cheapest, I had never heard of them.  So, who do you use?

For auto insurance we use Progressive and for homeowners insurance we use American Family.

I got laid off in early summer and was fortunate enough to get a job in the insurance brokerage business.  I think it's a good idea to check with a broker, because they aren't tied to any one insurance agency.  Instead, they work with multiple agencies so they can get several quotes and find lower rates.  When I looked at my own insurance, I realized I was underinsured on my house.  I was able to increase my coverage and reduce my home and auto insurance payments by over $300/yr.  I can give you, or anyone that's interested, a free quote.  Just send me an email at tpriceagency@yahoo.com.  In this tough economy, it's nice to be able to reduce some expenses.
